Do some research to identify a trend, event, or a policy related
to ADHD. If you look on news websites, you can identify and discuss what
reporters are currently writing about ADHD. If you look at the policy
statements by institutions such as the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/adhd/facts.html) or
American Psychological Association (APA.org), you can identify and discuss which policies
or advice they provide. You could also try finding events (either past events
or future ones) about ADHD at the local, state, or national level and then
explain what one or more events were (or will be) about. Then, summarize your findings
and report them to the class by responding to this discussion question.
During the week, go back and review your classmates’ posts and
discuss similarities and differences between your response and your peers’
responses.

Begin by posting your Commentary Rough Draft by the deadline
to TWO places: to the Topic 6 Commentary Peer Review
Forum AND to the Topic 6 Commentary Rough Draft assignment box.
2.
Next, review the draft of the person who posted his/her
response directly below yours in the Peer
Review forum. If your draft is the last posted, review the first draft posted.
Then, complete the “Peer Review Commentary Worksheet” (see attachment in
Assignment dropbox).
3.
You will then need to post your completed Peer Review Worksheet
to TWO places: to the Topic 6 Commentary Peer Review Forum for
your peer to view, as well as to the Topic 6 Commentary Peer Review assignment
box, so the instructor can grade your work.
4.
Attach the file with your completed Peer Review Worksheet to the
Commentary Peer Review Forum as a “reply” to the initial post of your peer’s
first draft.
5.
Please note that to participate in the peer review process you
must post your essay by 11:59 pm (AZ time) on Wednesday of Topic 6.
