Experiment 6:
Collisions (Momentum Conservation)
Scenario/Summary
The
objective of this exercise is to use video and video analysis software to measure
the motion of carts on a track. The carts will collide in elastic and inelastic
collisions. You will use the video analysis software to measure the momentum of
the carts before and after the collisions to investigate the conservation of
momentum and energy.
