Details:

Compile parts 1-6 of your research project into a presentation. Your presentation can be constructed using one of the following formats: a video presentation, PowerPoint, or Prezi (or a format not listed, as long as it is approved by your instructor). A minimum of 20 slides are required for this assignment. A script/notes must be included in your presentation. Be creative. Just make sure that you include the following sections:

1. Background Information

2. Media and Cultural Communication Challenges

3. Cultural Identity and Value Orientations

4. Verbal Communication Characteristics

5. Nonverbal Communication Characteristics

6. Conflict Styles and Management

7. Conclusion

In the conclusion of your presentation, include a reflection on what you learned from this culture and explain why you think your intercultural communication research is an important part of minimizing the negative effects of culture shock associated with the culture you studied.

Three to five sources are required for this assignment. Each student will be assigned a presentation to review. Each student will post their peer review in the discussion forum posted in the course. The instructor will provide further instructions for the peer review.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
